Inventory Specialist Level 1 (NOAA APS)

Provides property inventory management support for NOAA APS.

What you will do

• Enter and process accountable personal property in the Sunflower Asset Management System.
• Maintain current custodial records for accountable personal property.
• Identify excess property and report it to the Property Accountability Officer.
• Submit reports for lost, missing, stolen, destroyed, damaged, or unserviceable property.
• Apply barcode identification labels and track property removed for repair or use outside the custodial area.
• Support employee separation clearances and ensure loaned property is returned.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is required.
• Public Trust (Tier 2) clearance or suitability is required.
• Ability to work on-site in Silver Spring, Maryland.
• Ability to manage accountable property records and related reports.
