Equipment Inventory Specialist

Salary: $61,680–$92,520 annually

What you will do

• Complete receiving reports and maintain accurate equipment records across the plant.
• Conduct inventories of contractor and government equipment.
• Receive and properly segregate incoming scrap metals and materials.
• Locate, organize, lot, and prepare plant equipment for sale.
• Prepare excess property and sold materials for shipment or off-site repair and exchange.
• Support salvage yard operations during the Salvage Yard Supervisor’s absence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to identify and classify different types of equipment and metal.
• Ability to read procedures and shipping orders, navigate remote plant areas, manage multiple duties, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Successful completion of background screening and regular work at the company worksite are required. Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification and perform the listed physical and environmental duties.
