Commercial Financial Controller

Location: Crewe, Cheshire, United Kingdom; hybrid working

Salary: £75,000–£80,000 per annum plus benefits and bonus

What you will do

• Own financial reporting, performance management, and the financial control environment.
• Deliver commercial analysis and actionable insight for business decisions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
• Analyse profitability, sales channels, gross margin, logistics costs, marketing ROI, customer acquisition costs, and inventory.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and manage and develop the Finance Manager.
• Oversee the financial requirements of a German subsidiary.

Requirements

• Experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Commercial Finance Manager, or in a similar role.
• Strong commercial analysis and business partnering experience.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial control.
• Experience managing or developing finance team members.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems; Power BI experience is advantageous.
