Billing Specialist - London

hirify.global is recruiting for a billing role supporting the finance function of a media business.

What you will do

• Export nominal ledger and work-in-progress activity from Sage.
• Reconcile WIP balances and identify billable charges.
• Prepare draft invoices, obtain Account Team approval, and raise final client invoices.
• Process credit notes and verify billing data for completeness and accuracy.
• Respond to client billing queries and work with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice-related issues.
• Maintain billing records, support financial administration, audits, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience in billing or finance administration.
• Ability to work with Sage and nominal ledger data.
• Strong reconciliation, invoice preparation, and data-verification skills.
• Professional communication skills for handling client and internal queries.
• Availability to start immediately.
