Revenue and Billing Operations Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States; US working-hours overlap required.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annual base salary; may also include equity participation.

What you will do

• Own billing operations and contribute to revenue accounting as the company scales.
• Automate billing work, reconciliations, invoice generation, exception flagging, and data validation using AI-assisted workflows.
• Build and maintain controls that keep financial records accurate and audit-ready.
• Evaluate and implement billing solutions, comparing options and modeling their operational impact.
• Create a prioritized automation roadmap and scalable processes that reduce manual work and key-person dependency.
• Partner with Sales, Legal, and Accounting on contract, policy, and downstream billing impacts.

Requirements

• Senior experience across revenue accounting and billing operations.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, including identifying automation opportunities, building workflows, and verifying AI-generated output.
• Hands-on experience evaluating and implementing billing solutions and automating finance processes.
• Experience leading external audits and maintaining audit-ready processes and controls.
• Strategic judgment in automation sequencing and scalable control design.
• Strong cross-functional communication and a hands-on builder mindset.
