Head of Product (IoT)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; onsite at least three days per week

Annual base pay: $178,000–$330,600

What you will do

• Define and lead a 1–3+ year portfolio strategy and product roadmap for hirify.global Pool across product lines, customer segments, channels, and use cases.
• Own portfolio decisions on market share growth, category expansion, adjacent markets, investment priorities, product launches, and lifecycle management.
• Lead customer insight, Voice of Customer, competitive intelligence, market analysis, and product opportunity development.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support to deliver reliable and differentiated products.
• Align hardware, software, connectivity, and service roadmaps into an integrated product ecosystem.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing product organization with clear metrics, governance, and accountability.

Requirements

• Ability to work from the Charlotte office at least three days per week and travel up to 25%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Product Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Leadership, General Management, Engineering, or related commercial leadership roles.
• Experience leading complex hardware, software, IoT, and connected product portfolios.
• Strong experience with portfolio strategy, market share growth, roadmap development, profitability, investment tradeoffs, and commercial outcomes.
• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, and influencing skills, with experience developing and launching products from concept through scale.

• Experience across multiple customer segments, channels, categories, or adjacent markets.
• Experience with channel partners, dealer networks, or indirect go-to-market models.
• Experience leading connected, software-enabled, IoT, or integrated hardware and digital portfolios.
• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
