Product Manager II (Hardware)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with three days per week in the office required when not traveling

Salary: $90,900–$130,700 per year, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards

What you will do

• Own defined areas of the hardware data collection portfolio, including time clocks, connected devices, related software, and sustaining initiatives.
• Drive product lifecycle activities, including sustaining support, end-of-sale and end-of-life readiness, and customer transition planning.
• Translate customer and business needs into priorities, requirements, product plans, and lifecycle recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA, support, services, operations, sales, partners, and product marketing on issues, enhancements, releases, and readiness.
• Support international product availability, regional readiness, serviceability, and country-specific sales or deployment constraints.
• Analyze product, customer, financial, operational, usage, and installed-base data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, product management, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of product management experience with hardware, embedded systems, connected devices, enterprise devices, or related physical technology products.
• Experience coordinating hardware products across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, support, services, sales, and go-to-market teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Local candidates are highly preferred, and three office days per week are required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of product management experience with enterprise hardware, connected devices, embedded systems, kiosks, workforce terminals, or customer-deployed technology.
• Experience in workforce management, human capital management, timekeeping, labor management, payroll, or adjacent enterprise domains.
• Experience with Android devices, embedded applications, biometric technologies, access terminals, or enterprise edge devices.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
• Experience applying AI-assisted tools to product operations, customer insight analysis, documentation, data analysis, or portfolio management.
