Part-time Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding

Location: Onsite in Norcross, Georgia, United States. Part-time weekday and weekend schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; holidays and overtime as needed. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $18.00–$23.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Prepare compounded sterile IV medications using aseptic technique under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Set up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
• Participate in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepare records and monitor results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties according to established procedures.

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Georgia Board of Pharmacy required.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of the pharmacy technical field and ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions.
• Aseptic processing training or experience is desired; training will be provided.
• Ability to stand regularly, use hands and arms frequently, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
