Transcare Nurse - Liskeard

Location: Remote role serving trusts and patients in Liskeard and surrounding areas, with flexibility to travel outside the local area.

Salary: £36,319 per annum

What you will do

• Administer prescribed IV therapies and provide related care to patients receiving treatment at home.
• Deliver individualized nursing care to patients who cannot yet manage their therapies independently.
• Train patients and carers to connect and disconnect parenteral nutrition and other prescribed therapies.
• Train patients and carers to use infusion devices independently.
• Support phlebotomy and cannulation services.
• Work in partnership with NHS colleagues while making autonomous clinical decisions in homecare settings.

Requirements

• Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration.
• At least one year of current clinical experience.
• Competence in managing and delivering IV therapies.
• Strong communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work to strict timescales.
• Ability to make appropriate clinical decisions during emergencies.
• Valid driving licence and flexibility to travel to patients, including outside the local area.
