Infusion Care Specialist (LVN)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas; candidates must be Dallas-area based and work in the office three times per week as required by the business. Remote work requires a private, secure home workspace free from other employment, caregiving, or school obligations during working hours.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 base annually plus bonus, depending on location, level, and relevant experience.

What you will do

• Manage an active caseload of members receiving infusion therapies across oncology, immunology, gastroenterology, neurology, rheumatology, and related specialties.
• Conduct intake assessments, identify treatment barriers, and coordinate care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Educate members about infusion benefits, authorization requirements, site-of-care options, scheduling, and financial responsibilities.
• Coordinate communication among members, providers, infusion centers, specialty pharmacies, payers, and internal teams.
• Support benefit verification, prior authorization, treatment scheduling, outreach, follow-up, and case documentation.
• Participate in quality reviews, workflow improvements, training, team meetings, and operational initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse license in good standing.
• At least three years of healthcare experience; experience in infusion therapy, oncology, specialty pharmacy, care management, or utilization management is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare benefits, infusion treatment processes, and care coordination.
• Experience communicating with providers, health plans, pharmacies, or patients in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, electronic medical records, care management systems, or CRM platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment with strong written communication, verbal communication, organization, and documentation skills.

• Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Working knowledge of infusion therapies, specialty medications, and healthcare benefit navigation.
• Experience managing a high-volume caseload and identifying process improvements.
