Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Illinois

Location: Remote within the United States; providers must be full-time US residents and have office space to see clients in Illinois. In-person care is strongly preferred. Target Illinois locations include Danville, Springfield, Peoria, Crestwood, Vandalia, Macomb, Jacksonville, and Fairfield.

What you will do

• Provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
• Support clients across a broad spectrum of mental health needs, from mild presentations to complex and severe cases.
• Deliver care remotely and, preferably, in person through a private or group practice in Illinois.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to client crises when needed.
• Use Lyra’s scheduling, billing, consultation, and care-navigation resources to support client care.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track, such as MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, or PsyD.
• Unrestricted independent license such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent, with no current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience and commitment to evidence-based treatments, including ACT, CBT, CPT, or DBT, and clinical best practices.
• Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families.
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Full-time US residency and office space in the Illinois area are required.
