Fully Licensed Therapist / Counselor (LGBTQIA+ Mental Health)

What you will do

• Provide individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQIA+ clients using affirming, trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment.
• Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the Avon EMR.
• Apply evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and CPT according to client needs.
• Use the Trauma Journal and Written Exposure Therapy protocol to extend support between sessions.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and work toward full independent licensure.
• Provide at least 10 client-facing sessions per week with flexible availability Monday through Sunday.

Requirements

• Active Maryland license required: LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT.
• Experience and strong commitment to working with LGBTQIA+ clients.
• Cultural competence in affirming, identity-centered care.
• Experience providing individual therapy through telehealth.
• Clinical assessment skills and timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation experience.
• Availability for a minimum of 10 sessions per week with flexible scheduling.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting BIPOC and neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ clients.
• Familiarity with CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT.
• Experience with outcomes-based, measurement-informed care.
• Additional licensure in Maryland, Virginia, or North Carolina.
