Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (In Person) - Pelham, AL - 1099 Contractor

Location: Pelham, Alabama, United States; full-time U.S. residency required. Office space in Pelham is required for in-person client care.

What you will do

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric medication management through 60-minute intake and regular follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric evaluations, and longitudinal medication treatment.
• Create patient-centered treatment plans and document treatment recommendations.
• Message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in line with clinical best practices.
• Provide culturally responsive care across a broad range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE PMHNP program, or an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification.
• Unrestricted state license and full-time residence in the United States required.
• Minimum of 2 years of practice experience.
• Strong preference for an active DEA license.
• Must have office space and the ability to see clients in Pelham, Alabama.
• Ability to provide evidence-based care for patients with varied diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.

Nice to have

• Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, psychiatric fellowship, academic psychiatry certificate, or Doctor of Medical Science with a psychiatry concentration.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors.
• Ability to offer in-person care.
