Specialist, Inventory Exceptions (Retail)

What you will do

• Review and resolve customer-order and inventory exceptions, including overage, shortage, and damage cases.
• Coordinate with third-party delivery providers to maintain accurate inventory and support customer deliveries.
• Process returns, exchanges, delivery exceptions, and reverse-logistics inventory accurately.
• Review and action Salesforce cases from internal teams and external business partners, with emphasis on customer sales orders.
• Research transactions across ERP, WMS, and order-management systems to identify and correct inventory and account variances.
• Improve supply-chain processes, accuracy, and operational efficiency while supporting cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• At least one year of inventory-control experience, including cycle counting, WMS or ERP systems, corrective actions, or sales-order exception processing.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes, including order processing, picking, shipping, delivery, and returns.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory-management tools.
• Ability to work onsite at the Boston Heights Corporate Campus and maintain flexible work hours when business needs require.

Nice to have

• Experience in a public-company environment and familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as SOX.
• College degree.
