Senior Logistics Specialist, Inventory Control

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; physical retail, in-store

Salary: $21.00–$22.50 per hour; the fixed starting rate for new hires is $21.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead inventory accuracy and integrity across multiple store and warehouse areas.
• Conduct daily audits and cycle counts, track carton-level details, and reconcile physical and system inventory.
• Receive, process, label, and document shipments, including overages, shortages, damages, and other exceptions.
• Monitor aging inventory, process markdowns, coordinate vendor returns, and support replenishment between stockrooms and sales floors.
• Use scanning and ticketing systems to investigate discrepancies and identify operational improvements.
• Support onboarding, training, and development while collaborating with logistics leaders, retail teams, and visual merchandising partners.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of inventory control experience, preferably in retail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a physical retail environment in Columbus, Ohio.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and stand or walk frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to read and understand English, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; proficiency with inventory scanners and ticketing tools is required, while Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience is preferred.

• At least one year of distribution or logistics experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
