Inventory Control Specialist (Water Spider)

What you will do

• Move and organize materials from receiving and inventory areas to production workstations.
• Prepare, distribute, stock, and kit materials in the quantities required for production jobs and assemblies.
• Monitor inventory levels, process replenishment requests, and maintain accurate storage locations.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate inventory adjustments with purchasing, inventory control, and production teams.
• Review slow-moving inventory and document defective or nonconforming materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting daily production operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, shipping and receiving, inventory, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English and follow written work instructions and safety documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, dependability, and follow-through.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and collaborate on solutions.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally; frequent bending, reaching, standing, and walking are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with scanners, inventory systems, or ERP systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Kanban systems.
