Sr. Transportation Analyst

What you will do

• Manage and execute national logistics and transportation initiatives supporting the Materials Marketing Group.
• Oversee third-party transportation partners, including cost management, service efficiency, and carrier relationship optimization.
• Analyze logistics, inventory, asset reliability, routing, and performance data to improve accuracy and profitability.
• Coordinate same-day changes and next-day planning, optimize route design, and resolve pickup, delivery, and in-transit issues.
• Review freight lanes and cost-reduction opportunities with stakeholders and management.
• Support transportation software and brokerage-tool replacement, process development, and peer cross-training.

Requirements

• Five years of prior experience in the transportation field.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in a customer-facing position.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and time-sensitive tasks.
• Process-oriented and results-oriented approach with a commitment to ethical behavior and organizational goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
