Operations Manager (Hauling)

Salary: $99,900–$137,400 per year; annual incentive plan target of 20%.

What you will do

• Manage collection operations for commercial, roll-off, and residential routes, including container delivery and pickup.
• Lead Operations Supervisors, Dispatchers, Operations Clerks, Drivers, and Helpers across the business unit.
• Execute operating plans and tactical initiatives to improve customer experience, growth, profitability, and operational durability.
• Optimize route productivity, labor hours, disposal expenses, and operating standards.
• Oversee safety, accident prevention, loss control, environmental, regulatory, accounting, and ethics compliance.
• Manage the operations budget, vendor pricing, purchase orders, government relations, and community relationships.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience, or participation in hirify.global’ management trainee program.
• Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead change initiatives, direct a large staff, and develop high-performance teams.
• Process-oriented, results-oriented, collaborative, ethical, and committed to sustainable organizational success.
