Warehouse Transportation Lead (Logistics)

Location: Laredo, Texas, USA. Onsite, second shift from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

What you will do

• Lead warehouse transportation operations and support the supervisor in achieving efficient, compliant, and high-quality service execution.
• Plan daily operations based on forecasts, coordinate receiving and shipping documentation, and maintain organized warehouse transportation areas.
• Monitor operational metrics, productivity, data integrity, inventory exceptions, OSD issues, customer exceptions, and service performance.
• Coach, mentor, schedule, and develop team members while conducting check-ins, performance evaluations, and training activities.
• Improve department processes, systems, tools, cycle times, productivity, and service quality in collaboration with operations and systems stakeholders.
• Ensure proper handling of air cargo, hazardous materials, special freight, approved service providers, customer instructions, and required documentation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 1–2 years of team leadership experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Ability to learn and apply global logistics processes, procedures, systems, and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, with attention to detail and sound business judgment.
