Technical Project Manager - Hardware (eVTOL)

Location: On-site at the headquarters in Palo Alto, California; applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop and manage cross-functional projects covering design updates, testing and release, product launches, early adopter programs, and manufacturing development.
• Build and maintain project schedules and budgets using Jira, MS Project, or similar enterprise tools.
• Conduct regular reviews and check-ins with task owners and leadership to address scope changes, schedule delays, and setbacks.
• Improve time-to-market and promote project management fundamentals across the organization.
• Drive accountability and collaboration while maintaining an uncompromising focus on human-flight safety.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in engineering design or testing of complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience in engineering product development and at least 3 years of project leadership experience in the same or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, with PMI certification or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong knowledge of Jira and MS Project, including their implementation and practical applicability.
• Experience with growth-stage companies and larger best-practice organizations.
• Eligibility for employment in the United States and willingness to work on-site in Palo Alto, California.

Nice to have

• Engineering degree and hands-on experience taking integrated system-level products through manufacturing transition and market ramp.
• Expert Jira proficiency, including advanced workflows, schemes, automation, and dashboards for complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience running New Product Introduction programs in startup environments.
• Experience with aircraft certification and verification or validation.
• Lean and growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
