Fabrication Operator (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform fabrication operations using hand tools, power tools, heavy-duty forming equipment, and automatic or multi-slide equipment.
• Set up dies, tooling, forming blocks, movable and stationary equipment, and adjust stroke and feed settings.
• Position materials and tooling, read blueprints and production documentation, and maintain required dimensions and configurations.
• Inspect work using micrometers, calipers, scales, tape measures, calculators, and fixed gauges.
• Diagnose production problems, report faulty equipment or defective materials, and support continuous production flow.
• Move materials using pallet jacks, lift trucks, or cranes when properly qualified, while maintaining accurate production and ihirify.globalory records.

Requirements

• Experience assembling mechanical parts into finished products.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, hand and power tools, work instructions, and blueprint reading.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds; lift truck experience is recommended.
• Commitment to safety, quality, 5S standards, and accurate production work.
