I&E Technician - Treating

Location: Onsite in northwest Louisiana; must live within one hour of Coushatta, Louisiana. Travel throughout the northwest Louisiana region and occasional multi-day out-of-town travel are required.

Energy infrastructure company operating natural gas transportation, storage, amine plants, and compressor stations across North America.

What you will do

• Maintain, calibrate, test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and electrical assets at amine plants and compressor stations.
• Support PLCs, burner management systems, gas measurement meters, transmitters, control systems, valves, generators, motors, and related equipment.
• Develop and maintain grounding systems, preventative maintenance programs, inspection checklists, and maintenance records.
• Use P&IDs and loop diagrams to troubleshoot equipment and participate in P&ID, cause-and-effect, and control-system design activities.
• Assist with facility operations, oversee onsite contractors, manage critical spare-parts inventory, and mentor fellow employees.
• Respond to scheduled emergency call-outs, operate company vehicles, and follow process safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a relevant associate or technical degree is preferred.
• At least two years of experience with instrumentation and electrical components related to amine plants, compressor stations, or gas measurement.
• Knowledge of 4–20 mA control systems, transmitters, process controls, PLCs, and electronic devices.
• Electrical and mechanical aptitude, basic Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to perform calculations and complete maintenance documentation.
• Must reside within one hour of Coushatta, Louisiana, and be able to travel throughout northwest Louisiana.
• Good oral and written English communication skills and the ability to read and understand English are required. Must pass required training, operator qualification evaluations, background check, and drug screen.
