What you will do

• Manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, invoicing, payroll, ledger accounts, and financial statements.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and prepare key financial management reports and analyses.
• Develop and manage internal controls to improve cost containment, efficiency, and compliance.
• Train, mentor, and manage the performance of the accounting team.
• Evaluate accounting systems, procedures, and information flows to drive continuous improvement.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, internal and external audits, and special business projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Strong accounting background with knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Knowledge of financial methods, tools, accounting applications, and processes for maintaining books and preparing reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with senior finance and functional leaders.
• Commitment to confidentiality, teamwork, customer satisfaction, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Previous public accounting experience and knowledge of auditing practices.
• Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion HFM/FCCS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
