Manager, Accounts Payable

Location: Hard Rock Metropolitan Park Hotel & Casino; professional office setting with occasional duties in operating areas

What you will do

• Lead invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, and disbursement through checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Maintain the accounts payable ledger, reconcile vendor statements, and manage month-end close, accruals, and GL reconciliations.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, data integrity, relationships, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Enforce internal controls and GAAP compliance, manage 1099 filings, and support internal and external audits.
• Prepare AP aging, accrual, and financial reports while supporting cash-flow forecasting.
• Supervise, train, and develop accounts payable staff, including workload distribution and performance goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and AP automation tools.
• Attention to detail, leadership, communication, problem-solving, vendor relations, and process optimization skills.
• Ability to work in a professional office setting and occasionally in operating areas where secondhand smoke and excessive noise may be present.
• Successful completion of two satisfactory reference checks before employment.
