Machine Design and Controls Engineering Co-op (HVAC)

Location: Schofield, Wisconsin, United States; onsite office-based work

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on position and academic year

What you will do

• Support electrical panel and machine wiring for controls engineering projects.
• Interpret electrical schematics, develop bills of material, and support parts ordering.
• Work with technicians and engineers on troubleshooting, programming, design development, project quoting, and planning.
• Use CAD design, engineering analysis, manufacturing processes, and process development in machine design projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support projects throughout the full lifecycle.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a related bachelor's degree program such as industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, computer, electrical, or robotics engineering.
• Expected graduation within the next three semesters or less.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and leaders while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity to learn and improve processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Coursework exposure to electrical design, automation and controls programming, or electrical power.
