Purchaser (Robotics Manufacturing)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; onsite five days a week. Applicants must be based in the Netherlands and able to commute to Amsterdam. Relocation support is not available.

hirify.global develops robotics and software to automate onsite construction, building hardware and software in-house for autonomous masonry operations.

What you will do

• Forecast parts and materials required for robot production in collaboration with engineering and other teams.
• Set up and maintain bills of materials, supplier records, purchase orders, and delivery expectations.
• Find, qualify, manage, and phase out suppliers based on delivery, quality, and inventory performance.
• Source and order production tools, materials, and supplies while tracking lead times and supplier issues.
• Build spreadsheet-based processes for stock control, reducing shortages and overstocking.
• Forecast production and R&D spending and help implement the future ERP system.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination, ideally in manufacturing or hardware.
• Experience with spreadsheets such as Excel or Google Sheets for orders, inventory, and supplier tracking.
• Understanding of supply chain principles, lead times, inventory control, supplier communication, and purchase orders.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, proactive ownership, and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in the Netherlands and able to commute onsite to Amsterdam.
• Good written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing or using an ERP system such as NetSuite, Odoo, or SAP.
• Familiarity with hardware bills of materials and supplier onboarding or qualification.
• Interest or experience in robotics, hardware, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience working across production, engineering, and warehouse teams.
• Verbal and written Mandarin communication skills or a relevant degree.
