Operations Intern (AI/Automation)

What you will do

• Own supplier order confirmation workflows, resolve stock, pricing, substitution, and dispatch issues, and maintain the 24-business-hour SLA.
• Maintain catalogue data quality across specifications, pricing, availability, and end-of-life status in the PIM.
• Build supplier performance scorecards and present findings during supplier reviews.
• Measure cycle time, SLA adherence, errors, rework, and backlog trends using data from Zendesk, the PIM, and supplier feeds.
• Design and implement process improvements, including n8n or Make automations, LLM-based supplier-email classifiers, and cleaner data models.
• Document SOPs and coordinate workflow changes across Operations, Finance, Customer Success, Product, suppliers, and distributors.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong data skills, including cleaning and joining operational data and producing actionable analysis.
• Confidence with Excel or Google Sheets; SQL or Python is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs and low-code automation tools such as n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Comfort with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, or similar operational tools.
• Clear, structured communication and a proactive, analytical, ownership-oriented working style.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working with operational or commercial data.
• Interest in B2B hardware, IT procurement, or marketplace operations.
• Familiarity with catalogue, PIM, or ERP systems.
