Shift Planner

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States; the role requires in-person attendance and may involve travel based on business needs.

Salary: $31–$42 per hour base pay.

What you will do

• Support daily execution of the production plan in coordination with Production Planning.
• Monitor work orders in progress and confirm that logistics needs are met on time.
• Expedite material movement from the warehouse to the cleanroom.
• Review completed work orders to validate material usage and maintain accurate inventory data.
• Participate in daily build-plan meetings, identify risks, and escalate critical production blocks.
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and recommend preventive improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years of relevant business experience.
• Knowledge of production planning concepts such as material requirements planning, just-in-time, and lean principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Clear communication, collaboration, organization, proactive problem-solving, and adaptability.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in a complex or high-volume production environment.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Oracle.
