Manufacturing Engineering Technician II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Document fabrication, machining, and assembly processes using models, drawings, and text descriptions.
• Update work instructions, routers, manufacturing drawings, programs, and related technical documentation.
• Design and create three-dimensional CAD drawings of fixtures for work holding, assembly, lifting, and operational safety.
• Create plate burn profiles from engineering drawings and process engineering changes.
• Support design for manufacturability and assembly with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams.
• Prioritize and track requests for fixtures, burn profiles, and work instructions, and initiate engineering change requests.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree with 5–8 years of related experience, or 10 years of related experience with a high school diploma.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and track requests from multiple internal and external sources.
• Written communication skills and the ability to explain manufacturing concepts in person, by phone, and by email.
• Ability to work productively and collaboratively with people on a manufacturing floor.
• Experience with Inventor CAD modeling, technical documentation, manufacturing processes, and fixture design.
