Manufacturing Engineering Technician

What you will do

• Document fabrication and machining processes for parts, sub-assemblies, and machine assemblies.
• Update work instructions, manufacturing routers, programs, and engineering documentation.
• Create and manipulate three-dimensional drawings of parts and fixtures.
• Research similar parts, existing manufacturing methods, and costs.
• Update costing and routings in SAP and create plate burn profiles from engineering drawings.
• Support Design for Manufacturability and Assembly with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree, or five years of related experience with a high school diploma.
• Ability to prioritize daily activities and meet deadlines.
• Written communication skills and ability to explain manufacturing concepts in person, by phone, and by email.
• Ability to work productively and collaboratively on a manufacturing floor.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining, manufacturing documentation, costing, and routings.
