Senior SAP Basis Administrator (SAP)

What you will do

• Administer and support SAP development, QA, and production environments.
• Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patches, kernel updates, system refreshes, transport management, and client copies.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity, and troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues.
• Configure SAP security, user administration, and authorization processes.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Support cloud and hybrid SAP deployments and coordinate with functional, development, infrastructure, and security teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience in large enterprise SAP environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Basis Administration, system refreshes, upgrades and patching, transport management, performance tuning, and SAP security administration.
• Experience with SAP HANA and/or Oracle databases.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• SAP Certified Technology Associate certification in Basis Administration.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Platforms, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience designing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
• Experience supporting government, healthcare, or highly regulated industries.
