Enterprise Infrastructure Administrator

Salary: USD $135,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Manage VMware virtualization platforms, including vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter, clusters, and virtual machines.
• Administer Microsoft Azure compute, storage, networking, backup, disaster recovery, and related infrastructure services.
• Implement Zero Trust Architecture controls and support Microsoft Entra ID authentication, conditional access, identity governance, and privileged access management.
• Manage enterprise storage platforms throughout provisioning, migration, upgrades, troubleshooting, decommissioning, and secure disposal.
• Develop architecture recommendations, technical documentation, recovery procedures, and infrastructure improvements while collaborating with cybersecurity, networking, application, and systems teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
• At least seven years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure in complex IT environments.
• Experience with VMware virtualization, Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud environments, enterprise storage, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting identity and access management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID.
• Knowledge of enterprise security principles, infrastructure hardening, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance or Public Trust designation.

Nice to have

• Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP, Security+, CISSP, CCSP, or related certifications.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture, cloud migration, infrastructure automation, PowerShell, Python, ARM templates, or Terraform.
• Experience in federal government, healthcare, scientific research, or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, high-availability architecture, enterprise storage, and ITIL-based service management.
