Services Specialist (Sleep Healthcare)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; primarily work-from-home with occasional on-site meetings

Salary: $25 per hour, plus equity, PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Provide professional, empathetic phone support to patients, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Schedule and coordinate patient testing, appointments, study information, and return calls.
• Support patients before and after overnight studies, including equipment coverage, troubleshooting, and assistance.
• Document interactions, actions, follow-up needs, and testing information accurately.
• Protect the confidentiality and integrity of Protected Health Information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Escalate issues, coordinate patient needs across DX teams, support team coverage, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, patient services, healthcare, call center, scheduling, technical support, or another customer-facing environment.
• Direct phone communication experience with patients or customers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle confidential information and Protected Health Information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience learning and using new technology, systems, and workflows.
