Facility Technician

Location: 1000 Flower St, Glendale, California; required full-time onsite at an hirify.global-designated worksite.

Salary: $46.00–$48.00 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, BAS, and other critical building systems.
• Monitor building automation systems, conduct inspections and meter readings, and respond to service requests and emergencies.
• Complete preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance work orders and maintain accurate CMMS records.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, service calls, bid walks, and facility projects.
• Support emergency preparedness, safety and compliance activities, drills, event setups, painting, carpentry, and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in building engineering, facilities management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems.
• Knowledge of Class A commercial building operations, building codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and energy efficiency practices.
• Valid state Class C driver’s license.
• Ability to work full-time onsite at the designated worksite, with flexible hours and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or technical certification in building systems.
• Trade licenses or certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or low voltage.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Experience with Class A high-rise operations and REG 4.
