Facilities Technician 1

Location: Remote, but must be located in the Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC area to cover assigned Huntington Bank facilities. Regular property visits, quarterly inspections, annual site assessments, and emergency response are required. Applicants must be authorized to work full time in the United States.

What you will do

• Manage maintenance, construction, relocation, remodeling, planning, budgeting, and vendor coordination for assigned bank properties.
• Self-perform approximately 40–60% of non-contracted maintenance services.
• Complete HVAC filter changes, lighting, plumbing, electrical, interior, exterior, and other facility repairs.
• Visit each assigned property quarterly and complete annual site assessments in the facilities work order system.
• Verify vendor performance and pricing, develop vendor work processes, and communicate with internal customers.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs, participate in meetings and training, and provide support to facilities management leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license; a company vehicle is provided for work purposes.
• At least 3 years of facilities management experience covering multiple facilities, preventative maintenance, minor plumbing, HVAC, electrical repairs, furniture moves, and vendor scheduling.
• Experience creating and maintaining facility repair budgets and reviewing vendor proposals.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use facilities management work order software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and supply basic hand tools; overtime and on-call emergency response are mandatory based on business needs.

Nice to have

• Trade certifications.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and facilities management software.
• Strong project management, documentation, communication, time management, leadership, and quality assurance skills.
