AMS HPC & AI Deployment Project Manager (AI)

Location: Remote/teleworker in the United States, with Virginia preferred. Extensive travel to customer sites or HPE offices is required every 2–3 weeks. US citizenship is required.

Salary: Annual base salary of USD 105,500–243,000, with regional ranges varying by state. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Manage customer project and solution delivery for complex HPC and AI deployments across the Americas.
• Coordinate hardware, software, fabric, acceptance, and customer-facing deployment activities.
• Lead high-risk deployment schedules and resolve complex legal and commercial issues.
• Manage project financials, including project P&L, and maintain client relationships.
• Direct internal and external matrixed teams of fewer than 40 people across multiple HPE organizations.
• Mentor team members, provide performance review input, and recommend development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of technical project management experience.
• Experience using project and program planning tools to create, manage, and track results.
• Ability to understand, manage, and direct technical deployment work in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• US citizenship and availability for extensive travel every 2–3 weeks are required.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• In-depth knowledge of services operational policies, processes, and project management methodologies.
