What you will do

• Design and integrate interposers for advanced quantum-computing packaging.
• Collaborate with silicon testchip, signal integrity, power integrity, thermal simulation, and system integration engineers.
• Perform design validation and verification, including DRC and LVS.
• Deliver design milestones and communicate designs through presentations and technical documentation.
• Track developments in packaging technologies and design techniques through conferences and technical papers.

Requirements

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in physical design of silicon testchips, interposers, or related hardware, or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with relevant academic or work experience.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso.
• Understanding of how signal integrity and power integrity affect physical design.
• Understanding of advanced packaging technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of superconducting metals.
• Experience with Synopsys and Ansys software for automated place and route.
