Senior Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote, with preference for the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain or Portugal

Salary: €110,000–€130,000 annual base salary for Zone 2 (non-US), plus equity

What you will do

• Own identity and SSO in Google Workspace, including groups, SCIM provisioning, MFA, and access policies.
• Manage the macOS fleet through Iru, including enrollment, configuration, patching, and compliance.
• Automate joiner, mover, and leaver workflows from Rippling, SaaS licensing, application provisioning, and self-service support.
• Own security controls across AWS, GCP, GitHub, Kubernetes, and SaaS environments, including IAM, cloud guardrails, network boundaries, and secrets management.
• Run vulnerability management, access reviews, audit evidence generation, incident reviews, and remediation verification.
• Use AI-assisted and agentic workflows to reduce manual work and investigate security issues faster.

Requirements

• Strong software, infrastructure, or security engineering background with experience using code and infrastructure as code for automation.
• Experience owning identity, MDM, and joiner/leaver automation in a remote company.
• Experience securing modern AWS or GCP environments and explaining IAM design trade-offs.
• Experience with vulnerability management or access reviews in environments subject to external audits.
• Experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 controls and converting controls into automated checks.
• Active use of modern AI tools and an engineering-focused approach to IT and security.

• Experience with the listed hirify.global stack, including Google Workspace, Rippling, Iru, macOS, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Vanta, Intruder, Socket, Cloudflare Zero Trust, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, TypeScript, Node.js, or React.
