Senior Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

Location: United States — Remote

Base salary: $137,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Engineer and maintain secure, resilient, and performance-optimized multi-cloud environments.
• Partner with product engineering teams to embed security into architecture and developer tooling.
• Design and enforce identity and access strategies across cloud environments with IAM partners.
• Harden cloud platforms against emerging threats and maintain high availability.
• Lead cloud-centric disaster recovery exercises and assist with incident response investigations.
• Build automation, pipelines, and guardrails with Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience engineering with GCP or AWS.
• Solid DevOps experience with Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, including GKE, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing secure, resilient systems that accelerate engineering velocity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure.
• Experience working at a fast-moving or late-stage startup.
