What you will do

• Build backend infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale.
• Develop resource management infrastructure for big data and machine learning workloads.
• Build reliable, scalable services and client libraries for large-scale cloud data systems.
• Create tools for operating services across different clouds and environments.
• Develop services and infrastructure at the intersection of machine learning and distributed systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with SaaS platforms or service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with security, sensitive-data systems, and SQL.
