Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; primary location at 2608 SE J Street. A salary range is also listed for Bellevue, Washington.

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 annual base salary in Bentonville; $132,000–$264,000 annual base salary in Bellevue. Performance bonuses and potential stock compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Lead strategic engineering programs across reliability, observability, cloud optimization, and operational excellence.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define roadmaps, align priorities, and drive execution across multiple organizations.
• Establish engineering standards, operating mechanisms, and success metrics to improve engineering maturity.
• Use operational intelligence and data to measure outcomes, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
• Influence technical and business stakeholders to deliver large-scale initiatives with measurable impact.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex technical programs across multiple engineering organizations.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, software delivery, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
• Ability to influence engineering strategy and drive execution through collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience defining engineering metrics, operating mechanisms, and organizational improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related area with 6 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.

Nice to have

• Project management certification.
• Master's degree in business administration with a relevant specialization.
• Experience with product design and digital accessibility, including WCAG 2.2 AA standards and assistive technologies.
