Inventory Control Associate

Location: Marietta, Georgia, United States of America; onsite night-shift role

Salary: $31,200–$64,900 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Receive, log, quality check, store, rotate, and distribute deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, material issues, and inventory system data.
• Monitor stock, place orders, follow up on purchase orders, and account for supplier lead times and short-dated materials.
• Analyze inventory reports and recommend process improvements.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and other internal departments to resolve stock issues.
• Prepare intercompany shipments, complete cycle counts and inventory dispositions, and produce regular reports and material requisitions.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Good PC skills, including Excel and Word.
• Experience operating inventory control and stock-processing systems.
• Ability to drive fork trucks and obtain applicable certification.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk frequently, perform close eye work, and occasionally work in cold temperatures.
