Foreign Trade Zone Specialist (Customs Compliance)

Salary: $49,400–$61,100 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate customs documentation and support Foreign Trade Zone operations.
• Audit inventory and shipment transactions and maintain accurate compliance records.
• Support Canada-bound and other cross-border shipments.
• Work with Distribution, Logistics, Customer Service, and Trade Compliance teams to meet U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and develop into a backup resource for FTZ operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, customs compliance, international trade, import/export operations, transportation, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, administrative, time-management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to review, audit, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with shipping documentation, inventory records, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or trade compliance.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, SAP, or logistics platforms.
• Exposure to customs brokerage, freight forwarding, international transportation, or import/export operations.
