Field Service Technician I

Location: Pleasanton, Texas, United States. On-site field work at drilling rigs and well sites; relocation is not offered. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Salary: $21.90–$29.30 per hour; starting pay is $21.90 per hour and may be adjusted based on experience.

What you will do

• Assist with the safe installation, removal, repair, testing, and servicing of pressure control equipment on drilling rigs and well sites.
• Observe and follow job safety analysis, point-of-work risk assessment, Stop Work Authority, Management of Change, and SHE procedures.
• Perform equipment pre-checks, maintain company assets, and ensure equipment is operational and complete before jobs begin.
• Prepare accurate field service and sales orders while representing SPM Oil & Gas professionally.
• Provide customer service and respond to customer needs through 24-hour on-call availability.
• Drive a company vehicle and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record: no more than two moving violations in the last 12 months and no more than three in the last three years.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand, reach, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and moderate to occasionally severe noise.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses.

Nice to have

• One to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
