TL;DR
Director, Benefits & HR Operations (Benefits/HR Operations): Leading enterprise benefits, retirement, well-being, leave administration, and HR operations programs with an accent on employee experience, compliance, financial stewardship, and scalable service delivery. Focus on designing benefits strategies, improving employee lifecycle processes, automating workflows through Workday, managing vendors and budgets, and developing HR operations teams.
Location: Tempe, Arizona, USA; the position will be based in Tempe.

What you will do
- Develop and lead enterprise benefits strategies covering health, welfare, retirement, leave, and well-being programs.
- Oversee retirement programs including 401(k), profit sharing, ESOP, and financial well-being offerings.
- Lead HR operations, employee services, workforce administration, onboarding, employment changes, and separations.
- Establish service standards, operational controls, performance metrics, governance, and escalation procedures.
- Drive process simplification, automation, and Workday utilization in partnership with HR Technology.
- Manage vendors, budgets, compliance activities, audits, and cross-functional partnerships with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and HR teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Benefits, HR Operations, Shared Services, Total Rewards, or related HR leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience leading benefits programs, employee service functions, operational excellence initiatives, and vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and cross-functional projects in a complex organizational environment.
- Experience managing budgets, compliance requirements, and operational performance metrics.
- Strong strategic leadership, analytical, communication, change leadership, and executive presence skills.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CEBS, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CBP, or similar professional certification.
- Experience supporting global programs in a publicly traded company.
- Experience with HR technology transformation, process automation, and Workday.
