Maintenance Tech 3, Weekend Shift (Conveyors/PLC)

What you will do

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot motor controls, PLC inputs and outputs, sortation systems, and other advanced equipment issues.
• Identify long-term solutions for recurring maintenance problems and recommend improvements.
• Plan and coordinate repairs, document completed work, and communicate with peers, departments, supervisors, and managers.
• Provide guidance to peers while maintaining OSHA, company safety, housekeeping, and C-TPAT compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Hands-on experience with conveyors, material handling equipment, 24 VDC/120 VAC controls, 460-volt three-phase systems, MIG and stick welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Electrical experience installing and replacing outlets, switches, and fixtures, plus routine industrial hand-tool experience.
• Ability to pass equipment and safety certification requirements and hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, use RF equipment, bend, twist, and remain on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours.
• Availability for overtime and blackout periods during peak seasons; high school diploma, GED, or formal technical education is preferred but not required.
