TL;DR
EDI Engineer .NET (Healthcare EDI): Designing, configuring, and maintaining EDIFECS-based healthcare clearinghouse platforms and Medicaid ETL solutions with an accent on ANSI X12N 5010 mapping, CORE compliance, and secure .NET development. Focus on resolving end-to-end transaction issues, applying releases across environments, and supporting CMMI-aligned SDLC, audits, and quality reviews.
Location: Remote. Must be able to acquire a Public Trust security clearance.

What you will do
- Design, develop, configure, document, test, debug, and maintain EDI systems and applications.
- Support EDIFECS-based healthcare clearinghouse platforms and ETL platforms across Medicaid state implementations.
- Configure and map ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets and analyze end-to-end transaction mappings.
- Perform CORE validation, compliance activities, CMMI audits, and quality reviews.
- Configure firewall rules, apply quarterly and annual ECL releases, and respond to system alerts.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain configuration and version control with Azure DevOps.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with 10+ years of total work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience with EDIFECS in a healthcare EDI environment and strong knowledge of ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets.
- Experience with Linux, relational databases, reporting tools, ETL platforms, Azure DevOps, and CORE certification requirements.
- Experience developing secure web applications with .NET Framework, C#, WebForms, MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, and SQL.
- Must be able to acquire a Public Trust security clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting multi-state Medicaid implementations and healthcare clearinghouse environments.
- Experience with version upgrades, production releases, firewall rule validation, and MudBlazor.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, OWASP vulnerabilities, GitHub or Git, SSDT, SSRS, .NET Core, and SAFe Agile.
