C# Developer - II (.NET)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington will not be considered.

Salary: $85,389–$116,975 per year

What you will do

• Plan, design, integrate, test, deploy, maintain, and support software systems and subsystems.
• Develop .NET back-end applications with C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Build reusable solutions within Agile development processes and participate in daily stand-ups.
• Implement unit testing, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
• Monitor application performance, provide production support, and perform optimization and troubleshooting.
• Document designs, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders and engineering colleagues.

Requirements

• Five or more years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, object-oriented programming, design patterns, MVC, APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with Git or TFS/TFVC, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, CI/CD tools, unit testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, application security, performance tuning, and code reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of experience, master’s degree with five or more years, or Ph.D. with three or more years in a relevant technical discipline.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance are required. This is a W-2 position; recruiters and third parties will not be considered.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
