Software Engineer (.NET/Azure)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work system with flexible hours.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Build scalable and reliable cloud-native applications on Azure using services including App Service, Functions, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Storage, and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, define architecture, and propose technical solutions.
• Implement security, performance, reliability, coding standards, and documentation best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.
• Track emerging technologies and best practices in software development and cloud computing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with .NET technologies, including strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying applications on Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud computing models.
• 5–8 years of professional experience and experience with modern AI development tools.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
