Early Careers - Actuarial Associate Intern

Location: Hybrid internship in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX; unrestricted authorization to work in the United States required. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay: $17.75–$28.39.

What you will do

• Participate in the formal five-week paid internship program.
• Support day-to-day team activities, research, data gathering, and light analysis under mentor guidance.
• Contribute to a defined summer project with structured milestones and regular feedback.
• Work with team members and mentors on departmental projects and initiatives.
• Attend intern orientation, professional development workshops, networking events, and volunteer activities.
• Follow HIPAA, corporate integrity, diversity, and departmental policies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree as a rising junior, preferably in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science, or economics.
• Expected graduation between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Available for the full duration of the paid summer program.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and collaborative skills.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA, plus comfort with virtual collaboration tools.
